Gunsmthing Services

I require special Gunsmithing Services not available in the store?

Please contact Dawn Johnson at Kolar to discuss. A special order can be emailed for your approval and payment.

What to expect when you purchase Gunsmithing Services

  1. Place order by choosing the desired services, shipping method, and optional insurance.

  2. The total cost will include the freight and insurance cost for the shipment of your shotgun to Kolar and the return to your residence.

  3. Upon receipt of your order, you will receive an email with the UPS label to ship your shotgun to Kolar. Print this label and affix it to your properly packaged shotgun. Please note: Kolar is not responsible for shotguns that are damaged in transit to Kolar due to insufficient or improper packaging.

  4. Kolar will send a notification upon the receipt of your shotgun.

  5. A Kolar Gunsmith will review your shotgun and the selected services. Should your shotgun require additional services, additional fees may apply and you will be notified via email. If additional service is desired, you will be emailed the order reflecting any additional work and can pay online.

  6. You will receive an email notification when your shotgun is in service with an estimated lead time. Services can require up to 1-2 weeks.

  7. You will receive an email notification with tracking details upon completion of service.

How long will Kolar have my shotgun for annual service?

Please allow 1-2 weeks from Kolar's receipt of your shotgun. Transit time is dependent on level of shipping service chosen.

Expedited Shipping: if you choose expedited shipping, this doesn’t expedite the Gunsmithing Service, it only reflects the shipping and return level of service.

Apparel Sizing and Recommendations

Apparel Sizing

Sizing recommendations are not a guarantee of fit.

T-Shirts and Polos run true to size with good length in the body. If you are between sizes on the hoodie, please size up. The UPF50 shooting shirt is an athletic fit shirt and hangs just past the waist. The shooting shirt is not recommended for those that usually prefer Tall sizes.

  • 2X-Large - 47-49

Returns & Exchanges

Returns & Exchanges

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

Damages and issues 
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. We will provide a return label and replace your order accordingly.

Exceptions / non-returnable items 
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges 
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
